For more than a decade, Negroni Week has brought bars, restaurants and hospitality communities around the world together to celebrate one of the world’s most iconic cocktails. What began in 2013 as a celebration of the Negroni has grown into a global initiative that also supports Slow Food and its work towards a more sustainable and equitable food and beverage culture. In 2026, Negroni Week takes place from 21–27 September, bringing the global cocktail community together once again.
At San Canzian, we are bringing this tradition to Istria with Istrian Negroni Month, a month-long celebration inspired by our love of cocktails, our surroundings and the relaxed rhythm of Mediterranean life.
At the heart of it all is Davor Kaić, our bartender and the creative mind behind this year’s special Negroni collection. Created especially for September, his seven interpretations explore the many faces of this timeless cocktail — from the classic Negroni to more unexpected and distinctly Mediterranean creations.
